This
stage is probably the closest in overall appearence and general coloring
across all three ports, but the Mega Drive version does lose some
shading. The floor, Golden Nugget and Golden Goose signs are closest in
color to the Arcade on the Super Famicom port. The Mega
Drive version may not have as nice or vibrant colors or as much shading
as the PC Engine version, but much of the overall coloring is closer
to the Arcade.
The
Super Famicom version has the most amount of animating lights,
in number of objects which animate, overall frames and unique alterations
(making it noticibly different than the Arcade). The PC Engine
version animates the lights pretty much the same as the Arcade,
except it also has the orange/red columns glowing like the Super Famicom
version (only with less animation). Some of the tiles used for the crowd
don't match up in color as they overlap onto the orange/red columns (similar
to Guile's stage). The PC Engine version is also missing a sign
in the distant top right. The Mega Drive version has the least
amount of animating lights, probably half as many as the PC Engine
or Arcade.
For
the three center spectators, the guy on the the left has blue pants and
shirt on the Super Famicom while the other versions are fairly
consistant with orange and red clothes. The middle guy looks similar on
PC Engine and Super Famicom, while the Mega Drive's
lighter colors look more like the Arcade. The guy on the right
again looks very similar on PC Engine and Super Famicom
but has blue pants. The Mega Drive version retains the Arcade's
brown pants, but the jacket is shaded light blue instead of grey.
Both
the Mega Drive and Super Famicom versions have three background
layers.

This
stage is one of the worst for color on the Mega Drive. The coloring
isn't just different, many clashing and unattractive colors are used making
the faithful art from the other ports appear uglier even though there
isn't a major loss in shading. The floor and purple stage are very similar
on PC Engine and Super Famicom. The headbanging guy sitting
at the tables has an Arcade faithful pink shirt on PC Engine.
The
dancers on the PC Engine version have different artwork than the
the other two ports. Only the PC Engine version has the two guitarists
from the Arcade, both of which animate. The PC Engine version
is the only one missing the "Mesan Bela Taberna" sign. The sign
and lights don't animate on the Mega Drive version.
The
Mega Drive and Super Famicom versions each have three background
layers.

The
PC Engine and Super Famicom versions are very similar except
for a difference in color of a few key sections and overall noticibly
more vibrant colors on the PC Engine. The Mega Drive version
holds up pretty well on this stage, even with all the recycling of colors,
except for the awful peach sky. It has some unique shading to make full
use of the colors it has to share.
The
base of the boat and railing are colored like the Arcade on PC
Engine and Mega Drive. The smoke stack is colored like the
Arcade on Super Famicom. The Mega Drive version has
a dented oil drum like the Arcade.
The
Mega Drive and Super Famicom versions both have the same
two layered backgrounds.

The
PC Engine's colors are more vibrant than usual over the Super
Famicom version, which is overall more like the Arcade. The
Mega Drive version is missing some shading, but it stands out more
as the colors are almost a grey scale version of the other ports.
Only
the Mega Drive port has animation for the guy in the alley and
the running water which also flows onto the street from the basin the
girl is washing in. The green box that has some sort of symbols written
on it in the Arcade version, looks like "o2" on PC
Engine and Super Famicom, but clearly says "JOE"
on the Mega Drive version.
The
PC Engine version is the only port with the complete red lettered
message on the vertical yellow sign on the pole at the center of the stage.
The other ports are each missing symbols. The PC Engine port is
also the only one with the two rocks along the foreground like the Arcade.
The guy sitting next to the chicken handler has his head modeled after
the Arcade on the PC Engine version, but is different on
the other ports.
There
are no background layers for this stage in the console ports.
